The “GSS” Emergency Steering System can add up to 30 minutes of steering capabilities that are completely independent of the vessel’s overall systems. Its main purpose is to give full control of the vessels steering back to the captain with the push of a button in the event of total loss of steering through conventional and back up systems already installed on vessel.

Installation
GSS Technicians will complete full analysis of subject vessels schematics foir installation of the “GSS” Independent Emergency Steering System. Includiung, but not limited to wiring measurements, and an official “load testing” for torque and power needed based on the vessel’s size.
GSS Technicians will consult with the Vessels Owners to accomodate the best systems based on the workload and size of the vessels in their fleet. If needed, GSS can increase the size and power of each system installed to meet the Customers needs and to assure the “GSS emergency steering system” can handfle the workload needed in an emergency response situation.
Each system will be installed by a GSS professional team that will work within all Maritime Safety Compliance and Procedures. All systems will come with a 1-year warranty.
